The optional relay card has 8 DC relays. State of the of the relay; high (latched) or low (unlatched)is viewable in the set-up menu and in the web browser.
  • Name: Provides the option to assign a nickname to the output, for example: Discharge Valve or Alarm.
  • Usage: Assigns a condition that triggers a state change for the output, for example: setpoint target reached or a Digital Input 1 high.
  • Value: indicates the current state of the output, 0 for low (red) and 1 for high (green).

By default, relays are always unlatched as indicated by the value 0 or red box icon in the IO Monitor page.Relays can be manually latched and unlatched by pressing the toggle button in the IO Monitor page orchanging the Value from 0 to 1 for latch or 1 to 0 for unlatch.
