There are two digital outputs (sourcing) located on the main controller board. The GPIO card (general purpose I/O)has two digital outputs (sourcing) located on the option card. State of the I/O (green for high, red for low) is viewable on the home page of the display, in the set-up menu and in the web browser.
The outputs are typically used to indicate the state change of an event such as a set point being reached or an ADC error caused by a sensor failure.
  • Name: Provides the option to assign a nickname to the output, for example: Discharge Valve or Alarm.
  • Usage: Assigns a condition that triggers a state change for the output, for example: setpoint target reached or a Digital Input 1 high.
  • Value: indicates the current state of the output, 0 for low (red) and 1 for high (green).

The state of an outputs can be manually changed by changing the value and only if a usage has not been assigned(“No Mapping”). The state can also be toggled from the IO Monitor page.
